This blog belongs to my sister, the very best person I have ever known. She is not an avid blogger as is proved out by the infrequency of her blogs so I have taken it upon myself to tell you a little bit about her.
Debbie was born 2 years before I made an appearance so I can honestly say I have known her my entire life. She has always been very kind, giving and understanding (except for the one brief moment when she let mom and dad drive away leaving me behind at a gas station in the middle of nowhere Nevada, but I digress).
I truly don't think there is a better person that I know personally. She is a people magnet, people are attracted to her goodness and kindness. She smiles all the time loves her kids with a deep devotion and I don't think there is a better mother-in-law, anywhere. She is the best grandma in the whole entire universe. (Honestly, I would put her up against anyone at any time and she would win the grandma contest every time.) But let me tell you about one of my favorite things about my sis. She sings or hums .... all the time. I don't even think she is aware that she is doing it. I have been privileged to live next door to her for the past 2 and a half decades and I am privy to many quiet moments that no one else sees or hears. I will be in the back yard and her windows will be open and she will just be in the house humming or singing all while she is cleaning or baking something very tasty. (I forgot to mention that she got all the cooking genes.) It is a peacefulness that she brings to our lovely corner of the world. That is such a blessing in my life, I don't think I have ever told her that before, I really should. I guess I just did, except that she looks at her blog about as often as she posts something. So on the off chance she may see this let me say, I love you sister dear, you make my life better because you are in it. You have always been my example of what a daughter of God is. You make me want to be a better me and I couldn't pay you a higher compliment.
